How much does a shipping cost?

Shipping is typically between $10 and $20, depending on a combination of how close you are to Florida and how close you are to a UPS distribution center.

How long will it take to get my lid?

Once payment has been received, the lid typically ships same day or the following day. The exception of course is when payment is received on the weekend, when UPS is closed. From that point, UPS is in control of the exact time, but you can assume within 2 to 5 business days.

Why did I get an email from PayPal?

After you submit your toilet tank lid information, it is reviewed and a response is sent to the email address provided indicating that the lid is or is not available. If the lid is available, a second email is also sent from PayPal, allowing you to click a link to make payment on the lid.

Why haven't I heard back from you? - or - Why did I only get an email from PayPal, but not from you?

Sometimes my emails get sent into your junk/spam folder, or are blocked completely by your email server. or the email address you provided was typed incorrectly. If you didn't get a response, wait at least 24 hours then check you junk/spam folder. If it is not there, your server most likely blocked my email. Since most of my emails look the same, and I get alot of requests from people with the same servers (ie Yahoo, Comcast, Google, Hotmail, etc.) and because I am responding to a form submission, not replying to an email sent to you, these hosts get confused and think I am spamming your account. This is obviously not the case, I am just trying to help you find a toilet tank lid so your kids can stop dropping stuff into the toilet tank. The best remedy to not hearing back to your requests is to resubmit and indicate in the comments that it is a second submission.

What condition are the lids in?

I will not ship a lid that I would not feel comfortable putting on my own toilet. That means the top, front, and sides will be crack free. There may be some minor scratches on the finish because many of the lids are more than 30 years old and just get a little wear over time, but typically you won't notice anything. All lids are cleaned with soap and water, and if needed Soft Scrub with Bleach (this is great for getting old stains and discolorations off the lid).

I have this other lid that doesn't match my toilet. Can I trade for the one I need?

No. I don't purchase lids individually. If you have 50 lids or more, I may consider purchasing them, but if you need a lid for your toilet you need to purchase it from me.

I'm retiring and hav 100, 500, 2000 toilet tank lids that I want to sell. Will you purchase them?

Yes, I will accept offers. Use the form where you can purchase lids to submit your information, and list any details in the comments box.

How do I know which lid I have? There are no markings anywhere.

A picture and dimensions will aid in identifying the lid. Take a photo from the top down so that all curves can be seen. A photo of the bottom showing the grooves on the lid helps. The more information the better. If you can shrink the files down a little bit. Digital cameras keep making bigger and bigger files. My inbox doesn't make 5 megabyte attachments.

I don't even have a lid anymore. How can I tell which one I need?

No worries, a match can still be found. A match from directly over the tank showing its profile is helpful, along with dimensions. Measure from the farthest point on each side. Often the brand is very faint on the toilet just behind the seat, and sometimes there are numbers inside the tank. All of this can be helpful.

I swear I have an (insert name of toilet seat manufacturer, such as Bemis) toilet, why can't you find a match?

The interesting thing about toilets and toilet seats is that many times the seat is manufactured by a company that only makes seats. I don't have any Bemis toilet tanl lids because Bemis never made a toilet. Don't give up hope. A match can still be found using photos of the lid, tank, and dimensions.
